Flatwork Masterclass

Our Spring/Summer a Flatwork Masterclass series will be running from New Gap Farm, Heywood, OL10 2QD. It's time to get those dressage moves polished and those showing routines perfected! 

Paul has a diverse background in all aspects of equestrian sport; having been trained by Grand Prix dressage rider Angela Crane, he has also had prolific wins in the showing arena with hacks, riding horses and M&M's. He is regularly seen judging at all levels and has competed and trained horses at various stages of eventing during his time as Competition Livery Manager for Eric Winter (London 2012 and Badminton 2017 Course Designer).

Paul is a registered BHS Accredited Professional Coach and is fully DBS checked, giving you peace of mind and guaranteeing a high standard of teaching. Paul enjoys working with different combinations, whether they be newly established or well developed, and seeks to ensure all riders maintain a calm and empathetic approach to training. Because of his experience across both showing and dressage, Paul presents a calm and rational approach to training in order to get the most out of both horse and rider. 

These sessions are open to all comers, whether they be novice or advanced, youngsters or mature horses. Paul will work with each horse and rider to set goals and strives to develop confidence and ability with every partnership. 

Lessons will be conducted in groups on a surfaced outdoor arena. Group sessions are being held at a cost of £25.00 per rider inclusive of arena hire fee. Lessons must be paid for in advance and slots are non-refundable. Tea/coffee will be provided.

Heapy's bootcamp 

Dairy House Farm, Dairy House Lane, altrincham, WA14 5RE

22nd-23rd july 2017

Following on from the success of our residential Camp, we wanted to offer a two day Bootcamp to get riders kick started and achieve their goals! It will consist of two days of intensive training with Paul Heapy BHSAI INT.T. & BHS Accredited Professional Coach.

Included in this event:
- Two lessons per day (flatwork and jumping) 
- Competition goal setting
- Demonstrations on both days 
- Nutritional advice and weighbridge assessment by Top Spec
- Friendly and informal coaching and support 
- Lunch provided on both days
- Photographer attending 

£150.00 per combination
N.B. stabling and accommodation are not provided - stables may be available by separate arrangement with Dairy House for Saturday evening but would be subject to availability.

Cross Country Experience 

Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre, Middlewich Road, Tarporley, CW6 0SR

Our Cross Country Experience days are open to all ages and abilities of horse and rider, and are designed to encourage a better understanding of this discipline and improve your technique. 

Sessions will be run by Paul Heapy BHSAI INT.T - BHS Accredited Professional Coach and former Competition Livery Manager for Eric Winter (London 2012 and Badminton 2017 XC Course Designer). During his time with Eric, Paul was responsible for the training and development of event horses at every level, from Intro to Advanced. 

It may be that you need guidance for your first try at cross country, or you may be looking to improve your skills and move on to the next level. Sessions are of an informal nature and will last approximately 90 minutes to give you chance to try different types of fences. Our training will take place on the fully equipped cross country schooling field at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre, complete with water complex, sunken road and ditches.

Savvy Showjumping

Dairy House Farm, Dairy House Lane, WA14 5RE

Our Savvy Showjumping days are open to all ages and abilities of horse and rider. The sessions are designed to encourage your understanding, improve your technique and boost your confidence over fences. 

Sessions will be run by Paul Heapy BHSAI INT.T - BHS Accredited Professional Coach and former Competition Livery Manager for Eric Winter (London 2012 and Badminton 2017 XC Course Designer). During his time with Eric, Paul was responsible for the training and development of event horses at every level, from Intro to Advanced. 

It may be that you need guidance for your first try at showjumping, or you may be looking to improve your skills and level up or move to affiliated competition. Sessions are of an informal nature and will be conducted in groups allocated according to ability. Our training will take place at Dairy House Livery in Altrincham. The centre boasts a fully equipped showjumping arena, allowing riders to practice around a full course of jumps and over a variety of different fences.
